Peter Moylan
Peter
Moylan is a member of the Museum and Historical Society's
Programs Committee, and in January 2008, will become Chair.
He is currently a grant writer for a San Francisco non-profit,
the Homeless Prenatal Program.
Moylan has been a resident of San Francisco since 1976, and
the Bay Area since 1970. He was active in San Francisco civic
affairs, serving on two citizen advisory committees: The Waterfront
Plan Advisory Board, which created a land use plan for the
Port of San Francisco; and The Ballpark Advisory Committee,
charged with finding a new location for the San Francisco
Giants. He was a leader in San Francisco Tomorrow, an urban
environmental organization, and has served on Steering Committees
for several political candidates, propositions and initiatives.
He is currently writing a screenplay of the life of Emperor
Norton.
